The Studio
We are a Sunderland based photography studio offering family portraits. David and Josh offer a unique once in a lifetime experience to capture you and your family in the moment. Since 1984 David and his Dad, Robert Lawson opened the studio at Crown Photography which has now evolved into David Lawson Studios. David now runs the business along side his son Josh, who is also a member of the exclusive Master Photographers Association.
Studio Photoshoot
Experience what it is to have a family portrait with award winning photographers. Before your session, we will go through what to bring and to wear on the day, ideas for the photoshoot, background and prop choices and the combinations of poses and positions you'd like to have taken. We aim to take 30-40 of the best photographs you have ever seen of yourself. It's an hour of letting your hair down, having fun, making memories and capturing those moments that once gone, you are left with the pictures that we have taken.
Cinema Viewing Experience
After your photoshoot, we will invite you back a couple of weeks later to see all of your amazing pictures. We have a surprise waiting for you upstairs, our very own cinema screen, a large comfy sofa, tea and coffee and tissues at the ready. After you have taken your seat, we will talk you through about what to expect from the slideshow, what products we can offer and what you bespoke options we can create on the day. From beautiful handmade wall art for your home, to the perfect gifts to give to family and loved ones from your set of stunning photographs.
