You do not need modelling experience, because we guide you through everything from start to finish.
Before The Shoot
Before your makeover photoshoot, we help you feel prepared so you arrive relaxed and excited rather than unsure. We can talk through the style of images you like, whether that is soft and natural, modern and fashionable, dramatic black and white, or a mixture of everything. We recommend bringing a few outfit options, such as jeans, a smart blouse, a black outfit, something dressier and anything that feels like you. Simple clothing, good textures and outfits you feel confident wearing often work best, but we will help you choose what photographs beautifully on the day.
During The Experience
During the shoot, we keep everything relaxed, friendly and fully guided. You do not need to know how to pose, where to look or what to do with your hands, because we direct you throughout the session. We will adjust the lighting, background, angles and posing to suit you, creating a mixture of close-up portraits, seated images, full-length poses and more creative photographs. The images of Sarah show how one session can include soft beauty portraits, confident fashion-style images, black and white photographs and simple studio portraits, all with a polished professional finish.
Cinema Room Viewing
After your photoshoot, you will return for a private viewing where you can see your finished images properly and choose your favourites. This is where the experience comes together, as you decide which portraits you love and how you would like to enjoy them. Some clients choose wall art, framed portraits or albums, while others prefer digital images or gift options for family. There is no need to decide before the shoot. You can simply enjoy the experience, see the results and then choose the images that mean the most to you.
What to expect
A makeover shoot is also a lovely way to see yourself differently. Most people feel nervous at first, but that usually disappears once the session begins and they realise how much guidance they receive. We use professional studio lighting to flatter your features, shape the face beautifully and bring attention to the eyes. Small changes in posture, expression and hand placement can make a huge difference.
