About Cara & David
Cara and David have always known about our studio. Cara’s Mum, Grandma and Aunty have all had their wedding photographs taken by David, Bob and Wendy and now Cara is next in line to continue the family tradition. Josh first met Cara and David when they came in to have some photos taken of the two of them in the studio. We had so much fun and created some fabulous memories for them.
Fast forward a year later, we were delighted to find out that David got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course Cara said YES! They looked around a few venues before they settle on the fabulous Rockliffe Hall. It’s one of the North East’s most prestigious 5 star hotels and wedding venues. David and Josh have been recommended by Rockliffe since opening over 15 years ago. David was the first photographer to help promote the hall with some amazing images and even photographed the first wedding there.
Penshaw Monument
You can imagine how excited we were when Cara and David wanted us to take their wedding pictures. We decided that we would take Cara and David up to Penshaw Monument in Sunderland, it’s an iconic landmark in the north east and one that everybody loves.
About David Lawson Studios
David and Josh are a father and son team who specialise in Wedding Photography. David and his dad set up the business back in 1984 on Chester Road, Sunderland. Now with Josh they are the north easts most sought after wedding photographers. They love Ramside Hall! David has been photographing weddings there for over 25 years and even watched his sister and many other friends get married there. You could say David knows the place like the back of his hand.
David has also been fortunate enough to photograph John and Suzanne who own and run Ramside Hall. They have since became good friends and used Josh and David for Christenings, Birthdays and Family Portraits.
