About Ian and Nicole’s Wedding at Ellingham Hall
We first met Ian and Nicole when they brought their 2 beautiful daughters into the studio. They were an absolute dream to photograph and loved having their pictures taken. It was only a few months later when we found out that Ian had proposed to Nicole. She said yes! We were delighted with the news and were honoured that they chose us to photograph their wedding.
Situated right in the heart of the northumberland, Ian and Nicole chose Ellingham Hall for their wedding. It is the perfect venue to share this special day with each other. I had several chats with Ian before the big day about how much it meant to him and Nicole to get married and what they both loved about each other.
When I arrived at Ellingham, Nicole was so calm I couldn’t believe it! Unlike Ian who was nervous but excited at the same time. It wasn’t until the doors opened and Ian saw Nicole in her dress for the first time he just couldn’t hold his emotions back anymore. I don’t think I will know what that feeling is like until my day comes along. Also halfway through, I hit my head off the fireplace taking pictures and the whole roomed burst out laughing! It certainly broke the ice in the room. After the exchanging of rings and signing the marriage certificate, it was time for one of the best shots of the day.. the throwing of confetti!
The Beautiful Couple
It was then time to take Ian and Nicole around the colour autumn gardens of Ellingham. We captured the most stunning shots of the two of them and I couldn’t be happier with how they have turned out. Inside the hall is the old chapel, which has the most amazing glass window. The hall although traditional, makes the most of its character and charm. Their were so many opportunities for photos, we couldn’t believe our luck.
I just wanted to say one more time, a huge congratulations and want to wish you both many years of happiness together.
