Newborn FAQ'S

The best time is before your little one is born! This gives you peace of mind knowing your babies photos will be captured usually 2 weeks after your due date. We book up weeks/months in advance for this. 

We say between 10-14 days after giving birth is the the best time to get their photos taken. At this age they are still sleepy, easier to put into different poses and positions. 

Absolutely! We encourage everyone to have their pictures taken with the baby, bring the family pet along too. 

If you are worried about how you look at the moment after giving birth, don’t worry we will make you look fabulous!

We don’t want you to regret not having pictures taken with you baby in years to come.

Great question! We ask everyone to bring along the following:

• 1-2 outfit changes
• Food/Milk to feed the baby during the session
• Nappies incase they need changing
• Any personal items you’ve been given or want to see in the photos

We should have everything else but feel free to ask us before the shoot!

All of the photos will be taken at our High Street Studio in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. The studio has a private changing area, lots of amazing backgrounds, props and lighting to enhance your experience.

They start from £49 for the photoshoot and one picture of your choice.

Great question! We offer Handmade and Locally Sourced Photo Albums, Print Boxes, Wall Frames and lots more amazing products for you to choose from. Let us know if you are looking for something in particular and we can show you it when you come in for the photos.

You don’t need to, that’s what we are here for! Our photographers will guide you with how to pose the baby, how the siblings and family shots work and keep your right throughout.

We know how expensive it is bringing a new baby into the world is, so we know have some options to help you and still go with the pictures you’ve always dreamed of!

1. Debit/Credit Card – Pay this way to keep track of your payments
2. 50% Deposit – pay a deposit on your viewing day and then the rest on the collection of your photos
3.  3 month payment play – pay a deposit and spread the rest of the payments out over 3 equal payments
4. Ask friends & Family for Gift Vouchers from us to put towards your photos. 

All pictures and products will be kept with us until they final payment has been made.

After 40 years of being in business we only use the best and highest quality materials available to us.

For the amazing experience and products we offer you, we find most of our customers spend between £499-£1499 on their pictures.

These include Photo Albums, Wall Art, Print Boxes and much more.

1-2 weeks after your photoshoot, you will be invited back to the studio to view your photos. They will be revealed to you one by one as you sit back and relax while you watch the slideshow of all of your amazing photos.

This cinema style viewing experience is the best way to show you your pictures and will help to choose what you’d like to order.

We have been in our studio for 40 years and are based right opposite the Sunderland Royal Hospital on Chester Road. You can drive and park right outside the studio, there are lots of buses that run all the time and even the train station/metro station is within walking distance as well.

Our studio is on the 2nd floor of our building. We have stairs/ double hand rails leading up to to studio area where we will taken the photos. There isn’t a lift/chair lift unfortunately.

We have an award winning Makeup Artist who will create  your dream look and can even style your hair too! We would advise getting your hair done before you come in though.
