Louise and Nathan had a fabulous wedding at South Shield Town Hall and to finish off at the Little Haven! We were spoilt for choice having a fabulously historic building to have their ceremony, a beautiful coastline and beach for some stunning pictures!

Welcome To South Shields Town Hall
South Shields Town Hall is a venue full of history, elegance and style. Built in 1910, this venue has played host to many of the town’s prestigious events and has recently been restored to its original Edwardian splendour. The stunning period architecture of the grade II listed building is framed by the iconic clock tower, providing a picture-perfect backdrop to your special day.
The building
South Shields Town Hall provides the perfect setting to host your wedding or civil partnership ceremony. Upon entering the building, you will be greeted by a grand, sweeping, stone staircase overlooked by a stained glass window. The staircase leads up to our beautiful and ornate ceremony rooms, which can accommodate ceremonies for up to 120 guests. We can also accommodate a wide range of other special occasions, such as naming ceremonies or vow renewal ceremonies.
Reception Room
Up to 120 guests
The Reception Room is our main ceremony room and boasts some truly unique features. The original double wooden doors open to an elegant room with high ceilings, two marble fire places and large stained glass windows which make the room airy and spacious. The room is adorned with decorative plasterwork providing a perfect backdrop to your ceremony.
Ante Room
Up to 50 guests
A marriage or civil ceremony in the Ante Room is relaxed and intimate, the perfect room for a meaningful celebration with a small group of people.
