WE HEAVILY INVESTED BACK IN THE 90S IN A NORDIK FRONT PROJECTION SYSTEM THAT PROJECTED  A BACKGROUND IMAGE OVER THE SUBJECT THAT WAS NOT VISIBLE UNTIL IT HIT THE HIGH RESOLUTION SCREEN BEHIND THE SUBJECT.

IT WAS IMPORTANT TO HAVE THE CORRECT SETTINGS ON THE CAMERA AND THE CORRECT LIGHTING TO MATCH TO GET THE PERFECT LOOK.

YOU COULD INSERT ANY SLIDE OR BACKGROUND A TOTALLY AWESOME SYSTEM GROUND BREAKING AT THE TIME.

A front projection effect is an in-camera visual effects process in film production for combining foreground performance with pre-filmed background footage. In contrast to rear projection, which projects footage onto a screen from behind the performers, front projection projects the pre-filmed material over the performers and onto a highly reflective background surface.
